How can the construction industry recycle more building materials and use them in new production? To address this question, Realdania is launching Circular Construction 2.0: a new, multi-year initiative designed to boost the reuse of building materials through knowledge, documentation and joint development. In this way, Realdania aims to take on the risk and create solutions that can work in practice and at scale in the industry.

Housing communities remain popular among Danish senior citizens, and 2025 once again saw more communities for seniors being set up, as the latest Realdania survey reveals.

Municipalities and housing organisations can now apply for funding to build so-called Neighbourhood Houses – houses that will attract more people to these residential areas and strengthen the sense of community across the city. This is occurring as part of Realdania’s Future Neighbourhood Houses initiative.

Realdania has achieved a key goal in its investment strategy for 2020–2026: Five percent of the association’s total commercial investment assets are now invested in mission-oriented investments.

Realdania By & Byg's shareholding in the company European Foundation House (Philanthropy House) in Brussels will be transferred to Philea – the European membership organization for philanthropic actors, which has been housed in the building since 2013.
