We are a representative democratic organisation, with around 195,000 members. Any owner of real estate in Denmark can become a member of Realdania.
Our leadership structure consists of a supervisory board, an executive board and a board of representatives.
Board of Representatives
The Board of Representatives is Realdania’s supreme authority. It consists of 109 members, all of whom have the right to vote and to stand for election to the Board.
At election meetings held around the country, the members of Realdania elect the Board of Representatives via a system that ensures both geographical and professional diversity.
The Board of Representatives elects the Supervisory Board, which in turn appoints the Executive Board.
The Supervisory Board is responsible for the overall leadership, while the Executive Board handles the day-to-day management.
