Urban Development in a Growing World

Cities around the world are facing a profound challenge: the global urban population is expected to double over the next 30 years. This calls for fundamentally new approaches to how we design, build and shape our urban environments. BLOXHUB connects stakeholders from architecture, technology, design, construction and urban development to address this challenge collectively.

A Shared Mission for Sustainable Cities

BLOXHUB’s members include companies, organizations, research institutions and public authorities, all committed to advancing sustainability and innovation. Key focus areas include resource efficiency, circular economy and social sustainability, alongside strengthening collaboration between industry and academia.

The 380 member companies gain access to co-working facilities, programmes and events that foster partnerships and open new business opportunities. BLOXHUB serves as a platform for developing smarter, greener and more liveable cities.

A Global Platform for Innovation

Beyond its Nordic network, BLOXHUB connects members with international partners across Europe, North America and Asia. Together, they work on solutions to global challenges such as climate change, urbanization and digitalization.

Foundation and Vision

BLOXHUB was established in 2016 as a non-profit association in collaboration with the City of Copenhagen and the Danish Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs. Since then, it has become a key driver in shaping sustainable cities through cross-sector collaboration and innovative thinking.
