Is it possible to make predictions about Danish society four decades from now? The answer is simple: no, it is not. Nevertheless, you can learn a lot by trying. Outlining the future is an effective and useful way of analysing the present. It gives an understanding of how our society will develop and how it is possible to achieve social goals. This may also contribute to qualifying the choices we make each day - to shape development and ultimately the world we want to live in.
